Vic Morrow (1929-1982)
During the filming of Twilight Zone: the Movie, a low flying stunt helicopter experiencing pyrotechnical troubles crashed onto Morrow and the two child actors he was working with. Morrow and the young boy were decapitated by the blades, whilst the girl was crushed beneath it’s weight. The movie’s director, John Landis was tried for involuntary manslaughter, but was later acquitted.
